Empty Break Room

The Idea:
If I got so bored with my pod, I went to the Break Room for my lunch. The reason I like about this room is the fact that it is usually empty....and the vending machine!
Lately, it's not empty. I guess it's because winter, people choose to eat in than walking out.
So, I was lucky one day....the Break Room was empty! Yay!
I ate my lunch, and when I finished, I took out my phone, took a picture and suddenly felt the rush to write a story about the Empty Break Room!

The Story:
Nothing is worst than walking to an empty break room and feel being watched. That is what I feel every time I take my lunch at the break room on the 4th floor. Not the 2nd or even the 10th. On those both room, I only feel the silence, not the staring eyes.
I sit down at the corner like I always do. The buzzing sound from the vending machine accompany on every bite I take. But still, I feel being watched. All seats are empty, then why? Why I feel this way?

Then the kid comes. She always wears the same dress running around the table near the window. She does that for 5 minutes or so, and go without saying a word. I watch her as she giggles while running. But then she stops and looks back at me. Suddenly, I freeze. She comes to me and smiles. "They like you" she says.
I look around and see nobody.
"But I think...they actually like your food better". I stare at her; can't understand.
"Who are they?"
"The ghosts". I stare at her without blinking.
"You...you can see dead people?". No wonder she running around the table!
She laughs out loud.
"No silly, dead people don't come back! They either go to heaven or hell. Didn't your teacher taught you that?". I feel so relief.
"But the animal stays. There ain't heaven or hell for them". She walks by to the table again.

"And all the rats that got killed in your experiment, Doctor. They like you, especially your food!"
